MPT is a supporting business in the industry during trying times.
Dear MPT Group Employees, Customers and Partners
As COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) continues to spread across the globe, and now within the borders of Africa, I would like to inform all our valued customers and partners what Master Power Technologies and its affiliated group of companies are doing to respond to this health emergency.
Our priorities are the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and partners, families, and the communities in which we live and work. We continue to assess the situation daily, and continue to implement industry best practices such as travel and visitor restrictions, work from home policies where necessary, social distancing, etc. We are also remaining vigilant and adhering to all recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), South Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local authorities.
Our assembly and warehousing operations continue to run as usual, we continue to support exceptional levels of available inventory, and we will continue to provide the same outstanding levels of service that you have come to depend on from Master Power Technologies. At this point, we are experiencing minimal disruption, however, should we experience delays, these will be communicated to customers as soon as they are known.
There will be some strategic changes in our standard service and support protocols to ensure the safety of our teams and our clients, however our service levels will remain at the highest levels this continent has been exposed to. Our technology offering ensures that we are able to support environments to such an extent that the general industry is still not accustomed to with this offering. This enables us in times like these to support your (our clients) environments even if you (our clients) are unable to. Our online systems also eradicate the unnecessary support requirements when dealing in extreme conditions like exceptional load shedding, critical environments demands, COVID-19 affected resource issues, etc. It’s in times like these when we need to optimise our resources.
Fortunately, for our operations in Africa we are well represented in many countries on the continent, with specialised competence in each country, demonstrating our ability to support our clients from various countries with online remote support and onsite physical support, while still being ringfenced in our individual countries.
I would like to reaffirm MPT’s commitment, support and service to meeting your needs for all our products, and we look forward to serving you as we navigate through this time of uncertainty.
I sincerely hope you and your families are well through these trying times.
